Our Extended Family

Our extended family includes quite a number of people. They range from direct blood relatives, to good friends, to people who have spent some significant amounts of time on the farm. All of them are family.

We enjoy visitors from all over the world, though the majority are from England, which is where most of our extended family (by blood) lives.

Below is a picture of the extended family who were down for Sam and Anne's 25th wedding anniversary. That was in 2002, I think. I'm sure someone will tell me soon if I'm wrong. David Alan Hoare - Husband of Joan nee Alderson, Father of Mike Hoare, Anne Appleby, and Sylvia Prince - died suddenly on August 16th, 2006. We will all miss him dearly. Here is a page with a poem written by his children and his obituary.
